Over the centuries, choral music has often been about the world of nature. In that spirit, Oriana offers a concert of choral works by Charles Villiers Stanford, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Adolphus Hailstork, Josiah Alwood, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Laura Mvula, Karen Marrolli, Henry Purcell, and George Frideric Handel. Each of these, in one way or another, is a song about the natural world.
